Yes! Many people think air conditioning only cools, but Airomax wall-mounted air conditioning units can both heat and cool your rooms. They offer a flexible, energy-efficient way to maintain comfort without relying solely on central heating.
Simply set your desired temperature, and the system will quickly adjust to heat or cool your space, giving you complete control over your indoor climate whatever the weather outside.
In most cases, residential air conditioning installation does not require planning permission, as long as the system meets certain regulations:
The external condenser unit must not exceed 0.6m³.
It should be installed at least one metre from the property boundary.
It must not be placed on a pitched roof or above the existing roofline.
However, listed buildings or properties in conservation areas may need approval. To be safe, check with your local council or contact Airomax for guidance and professional installation advice.
The installation time for an air conditioning system depends on the type and complexity of the setup:
Single-split systems: Usually completed within 1–2 days.
Multi-split systems: Typically take 3–5 days, depending on the number of indoor units.
Ducted systems: Large commercial or complex installations may take a week or more.
All installations are carried out by our F-Gas certified engineers, ensuring every system is installed to high professional standards and fully compliant with regulations for safety and efficiency.
Regular air conditioning maintenance is essential to keep your system efficient, reliable, and long-lasting. At Airomax, we recommend the following service schedule:
Residential systems: Serviced once a year.
Commercial systems: Serviced twice a year due to heavier usage.
A full service includes cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting coils, and testing overall system performance. For your warranty to remain valid, an annual service is required. Regular maintenance from Airomax helps prevent breakdowns, reduce energy costs, and extend the life of your air conditioning system.
